I contacted Karen with only 30 days to move out of our house. We were moving from a 6,800 ft home where we had raised 5 kids and I was ready to downsize and keep very little. From our first conversation I had felt confident that Karen and her team from Night Owl Estate Sales would make this potentially overwhelming move almost easy! We agreed on what was a very reasonable fee and Karen handled everything from there. Starting with the Estate Sale and following her process of throwing away as little as possible everything was seamless. I was especially impressed with her working with specialty donation companies after the Estate Sale who paid for and took more than I expected. The throw away and clean up was finished in time and the house was ready for closing! We made a nice profit on our sale, threw away less than I thought we would, and it was practically stress free. I was selling my home for a variety of reasons, but mainly to "downsize". I had a considerable amount to sell - furniture, kitchen items, pictures and much more. Karen was so helpful in helping me decide what to sell and what to keep. Through it all, her professionalism and experience was very much appreciated. I was impressed with how they displayed everything - so well laid out. I had no idea how much work an estate sale took, but they did all the work. The communication was always excellent, before, during, and after the sale. I always knew what decisions were being made, when I was needed, when they were at the house, and any last minute decisions. I always felt I was included in the process. And I made money!
